Acceptable use policy

Be who you say you are

• Do not impersonate a person, company or organisation, or claim a job title, licence or affiliation you do not have.
• Do not create cards for people who have not agreed to it, or for fake or fictional people meant to deceive.

Do not publish

• Content that is illegal in India or in the place it is targeted, including fraud, scams, phishing and counterfeit goods.
• Hateful, harassing, threatening or sexually explicit content, or content that exploits or endangers children.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights.
• Misleading claims, such as fake reviews or false qualifications, or regulated offers (for example financial, medical or gambling) without the licences the law requires.
• Malware, or links to pages that install it or steal credentials.

Do not misuse the service

• Do not send spam, or use lead data to send messages people have not agreed to.
• Do not collect personal data from cards or leads in bulk, or scrape the directory.
• Do not probe, attack, overload or try to bypass limits and security of the service.
• Do not resell the service except through the reseller programme.
• Do not use QR codes or links on cards to hide where they lead.

Reporting a card

Every public card has a report option. You can also contact us. We review reports and may remove content, suspend a card, or close an account. Where the law requires, we act on valid takedown requests within the times stated on our Grievance page.

What we may do

If we find or are told of a violation we may, depending on how serious it is: ask you to fix it, hide or remove the content, suspend the card or account, and report it to the authorities. We try to give notice and a chance to respond, but may act immediately when there is risk of harm or a legal duty.

Appeals

If you think we removed something by mistake, contact us through our contact page with the topic “Legal, privacy or grievance”. A different person will review it and we will tell you the outcome. Hello Marketing has the final say on what stays on the service.
